Gulfport Fishing Reports (July 2026)

The wind has been brutal the last two weeks but the Trout, Redfish and Spanish Mackerel bite is good when we can get out.

The last couple of trips. Sheepshead bite is on fire and Spanish Mackerel moving in.

Sheepshead bite is on fire when the weather allows us to get out.

Lately we have been catching plenty of sheepshead and black drum. Some days we are still getting into redfish, speckled trout, and white trout. The weather has been mild and we haven't had to make long boat rides, both of which make for a relaxing fishing experience. Live bait such as shrimp and fiddler crabs have been the key to success. In the coming weeks we will continue to fish inshore structure for sheepshead and drum, and start to focus on river mouths and deep bayous for trout and redfish once the water cools down.
