Redfish are the targeted species currently in Ponce inlet. With Snook and occasional tarpon following. The biggest issue has been weather, with high winds, rough seas and high water it gets difficult to get out at times. The current forecast is really positive and there should be no issues getting out for these bruiser.

With summer coming to an end and high waters right now we are finding nice reds snook and some trout along the mangrove lines. As we dive into fall/ winter we will be targeting reds, black drum, and other species. The weather is beautiful the ocean is calm. The fish are hungry. This time of year is typically the best fishing South Florida has to offer plenty of Kingfish, Tuna, Wahoo, and even a bunch of Sailfish are still around. There are some Dolphin, but they are not as thick as they would normally be this time of year. Also, the bottom fishing has been on fire with the muttons spawning there are some quality size mutton being caught. The giant Sargasm that people have been talking about has really not made its full presence felt here in South Florida.,...
