I took a couple of buddies out on 1/29/26 we found a school of reds and for 3 hours till we couldn't pick up a rod or pick up the net. We caught fish after fish we caught our limit in mins but we stayed and practiced catch and release after. We ended up catching 120 redfish all on plastics.

Catching mixed boxes every day. From small to big redfish. Lake is a little muddy and should start clearing up soon. The sheepshead bite is on fire right now as well starting to lots of speckled trout.

We went scouting for flounder last week and ended up with a box of redfish for dinner. As the weather warms up the fishing will continue to get better.
