Fishing has been very good. Fish that are biting are mingo snappers, white snappers, red snapper and triggerfish. Lots of sharks too

This Cold weather snap has the billfish spun up, 300lb blue was tagged and landed a sail , the trolling has produced Bonita and king mackerel! We are at the end of our season so we are slowing down but still plenty of Reef fish to catch before the gulf weather gets harsh for

Well they opened up red snappers for us on the weekends so even having a pretty good catch of red snappers and a few Triggerfish here and there for the trolling bite we've been catching a few Bonitas King mackerels and Spanish mackerels

Red snapper open on weekends for October. When it's calm enough, we have been doing very well with some big snapper and even a grouper now and then. Smaller Mahi mahi still around. Occasionally a nice big for inshore 5-10 lb er. A few king mackerel showing up, but not thick yet.
Bay fishing-
Mangrove snapper bonanza! Fair amount of Spanish mackerel on fly lined baits. Big oversized red fish on the right winds. Has been good lately with North winds and Cooler temps.

The amberjack bite has been on fire as well as Almaco Jacks, Triggerfish are running small so hooking up with a keeper trigger has been a chore! Plenty of Vermillion snapper and Porgy's around though. Trolling has been hit or miss, depending on the current some days we catch 6 and some days they aren't hitting! The blackfin are on the move as the water temp starts to drop they are moving closer inside of state waters! King mackerel have been the main ones we have been hooking up with on the shotgun trolling! Red snapper are everywhere but out...

The weather conditions have been great along with the fishing. The warm water is pushing the fish to deeper water. The grouper, tilefish, triggerfish, mingo, and swordfish bite have been on fire lately

This week the Triggerfish bite has been slow! Trolling has produced Bonita and some small wahoo! We have been able to locate the Mahi several times for a good solid bite! A few triple tail keepers have made it to the ice, as well as a few Almaco Jacks
