With most of my focus sight fishing and throwing top waters at first light we have mostly been catching Big Trout and Reds. We did get a couple of king fish in the inlet. Lots of Bull Reds in the inlet right now and for the next couple of months.

Trout fishing continues to be very good with many larger over 20 inch fish being caught in the Mosquito Lagoon mostly using pig fish. We’re seeing groups of tailing redfish on the grass edges of the shallow flats large schools of Spanish mackerel and Bonita have been running. The beaches can be caught using a small drone spoon. The mullet run should be kicking off anytime now. Look for large schools of Mullett along the beach getting crashed by Tarpon, Jacks and King Fish. I have dates available.

The Ponce Inlet area had really been heating up. And I mean that literally. With water temps in the mid 80s many species have been pretty active. For the past two weeks we have had Kingfish (king mackeral) on the beaches so just about every drop with bait you are hooking up. This is great if you are targeting them but otherwise they are going to bite you off. Tarpon still very active with mixes of 20-40 lb fish and 100lb plus fish. Bull reds are increasing in size by the day with some nice bags of mangrove snapper and...
