Black drum have shown up and ate hungry. The redfish bite still remains good as they start schooling up. And last but not least some flounder are arriving and the trout bite still remains good throwing artificial at them.

Trout and redfish bite has been on fire all month. Fish pods of mullet on flats edges and bars. Topwater Bute has been great first of the morning and live bait and soft plastics later in the morning.

Redfish are the targeted species currently in Ponce inlet. With Snook and occasional tarpon following. The biggest issue has been weather, with high winds, rough seas and high water it gets difficult to get out at times. The current forecast is really positive and there should be no issues getting out for these bruiser.

With summer coming to an end and high waters right now we are finding nice reds snook and some trout along the mangrove lines. As we dive into fall/ winter we will be targeting reds, black drum, and other species. Mosquito Lagoon has continued to produce nice Reds and some Slob Trout. We began night fishing the causeways last week and the fish were on fire. While we were able to land a few we were broken off by more than we landed. The inlet area is producing slot size Reds as well as some nice Bulls.

Water clarity is down, so redfishing has slowed a bit, but still seeing quite a few tails. The snook bite has picked up and some juvy tarpon are starting to move in
