Fishing reports straight from our guides in Port O'Connor Jetty
Fishing has been hit and miss with all the different wind directions, super high then super low tides and the swing in temps and cold fronts that seem to be hanging around. Once we have normal temps,wind directions and keep normal tides the fishing should really turn on here in Port o Connor.

Redfish and trout are starting to make their way onto the flats as they warm up in the midday sunshine. We are seeing a mass of bait push its way north from the land cut and Baffin Bay into the upper Laguna which will mean shorter runs in the boat and more fishing time!

Been wading and drift fishing with lures and live shrimp, sheep head are in with live shrimp on the bottom along the jetties and Packrey Channel!

Fishing has been good despite high winds. Clients have been able to land some very solid fish using Down South Lures.

Fishing has been great around rocks and structure. Popping Cork and shrimp with 4 Horseman popping corks have been the key. Also shrimp rigged on bottom with a jig head for drum.

Well with this bipolar south Texas winter weather the fishing has been anything but consistent. That being said a lot of fishing guides are having trouble finding and keeping the fish patterned. But never the less I have been giving it 100% every chance I have had to get on the water.

Lot of trouts around 16 inches in 4 to 6 feet of water and water temperature is 64. Look for oil slick.

Redfishing has been good in the back lakes on cut mullet and sardines. Sheepshead good at Jetties on shrimp. Weather has been up and down but fishing has still been good.

Big trout are showing out in Baffin Bay! Easy limits of Redfish but we're targeting these trophy Speckled Trout. Wading with artificial lures. Catch and release only.
