If you’ve never been fishing in Corpus Christi before, you’re missing out! Corpus Christi is home to some beautiful Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and other species. Prepare to target these species and many more on your 6-hour adventure with Captain Mitch.

With over 50 years of experience fishing these waters, Captain Mitch is your guide for fishing the productive fishing holes from the Upper Laguna Madre, Land Cut, and Baffin Bay to Corpus Christi Bay, Redfish Bay, and everywhere in between!

Captain Mitch feels equally at home wade fishing or drift fishing from the boat, fishing with live bait or with artificial lures. Let him know your preference and he will be more than happy to accommodate!

Make sure you bring a valid Texas fishing license, food and drinks of your choice (no glass), sunscreen, and a hat.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

I would highly reccomend Captain Mitch. He’s hands down the best around . He will put you on the fish, is an excellent teacher who is super knowledgeable and willing to take the time to teach different techniques and what the different species of fish prefer . Captain Mitch is fun to hop in the water with.
Put us on some fish, explained why we were doing what we were doing, and even pointed out some park-and-wade spots for future trips to Corpus.
(Too soon to review his recipes!)

Now that the freezer is full of reds we'll be coming back to chase a 30in trout!
