Unfortunately the fishing part wasn’t successful but not for a lack of captain John trying everything to put us on fish. He was a blast to talk with and we still had a great time even though the fish weren’t cooperative. Would definitely go out with captain John in future

Captain Alex was fantastic! When the temperature dropped we weren’t really sure the fishing trip would commence. Captain Alex was not phased and happily braved the cold for my very strong willed 13 year old. Thanks to Captain Alex and his knowledge of the bay, the boys brought in some great sized Red Fish and we had a wonderful dinner that night. Great guide! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful 5 hour afternoon trip with Captain Doug. I plan on billing with him again the next time we are in the area. Rain and wind were predicted for the original date we booked, so Captain Doug reached out and made recommendations to schedule for a different date. He was flexible with us and very accommodating. We are a family of beginner fisherwomen and he was patient, kind, and a perfect instructor. I strongly recommend booking with Captain Doug. Captain Experiences website was also easy to use as well.

Awesome trip with a great Captain who put us on a bunch of fish. We were pretty much beginners when we started and felt like experts by the end of our trip.

We had a great trip. Were not able to get onto the the bill drum as hoped. But that seemed to be weather and water condition induced. But we did get to bring some fillets home as Josh was able to put us on some smaller drum and reds. Josh was on time and ready both days we fished. Very attentive to making sure our lines were baited and in the right spot. Very friendly. Quiet when we were quiet, but joined in on the banter when we were ribbing each other over a missed fish etc… We would fish with him again.

Capt. Larry is a true professional. He quickly developed realistic expectation and promptly delivered and then some. My two teenagers and I showed up never having done anything like this before. Capt. Larry explained that conditions were not ideal, but we should still catch a few. First thing took us to a proven spot, it took a little bit, but my 13-year-old daughter picked up a couple in the first 3-+- minutes. Larry knew immediately what was going on with the fish and put us all in position, we stayed pretty much in the same spot for the rest of the day and did very well. All we caught wee Redfish; we caught several in the 5.5#+ class. We had a great day. Or second day was a good day as well, each of us caught enough fish to feel like we knew what we were doing. Larry has a great way about him to make you feel comfortable and is very capable. We will come back again as long as we can fish with him. MT
