About Your Trip

Captain Shayne welcomes you to Texas! Captain Shayne is a licensed guide ready to take you and your friends on a great day of fishing. He’ll meet you in Corpus Christi and take you to the area’s bountiful inshore waters, backcountry, as well as flats. The captain will know exactly where to look for fish and will make sure you have a great experience on the water!

With great experience and a laid-back attitude, he’ll put you on the fish you are looking for – Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Flounder. You will be fishing by bottom fishing, spinning, popping, drift fishing, artificial lures, as well as Flounder gigging, all on light tackle.

The captain’s Majek flats boat is 25’ long, meaning you and your companions will not be cramped. Even better, he runs this boat skinny, in places most won't want to go. It runs on a 250 HP Yamaha engine, uses modern navigation electronics, and has got a livewell. Up to 4 anglers can join a trip.

The boat is family-friendly so you can have a wonderful day of fishing with your whole family. You decide if you’ll keep or release the fish you catch.

If you have questions, feel free to call the captain, he's happy to chat! He’ll provide all the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, and water, so make sure to bring your licenses, some snacks, and any drinks you like before starting the trip. Kids 12 and under fish for free!

Shayne was an awesome guide. It was my two teenage boys and me. We moved several spots and caught about 25-30 trout. We had a great time and enjoyed the fishing trip.

Shayne was an amazing guide!! We limited out on trout within about 20 minutes from when the first line was casted. My girlfriend who has only fished one other time was able to catch many fish and he helped her every step of the way! You won’t regret booking with Shayne 👍🏻

Great fishing trip. Shayne communicated with us prior to the trip answering an questions we had. He picked us up right on time and we got right to the fishing. Wind was howling and seemed to get higher as the night went on. We had chosen the night trip because that was the only time we could go and we love night fishing anyway. Not too many guides offer that. He took us into protected areas and we had a blast. Fish were not cooperating, but he worked hard to get us on some fish that were feeding. Got two really nice redfish and one keeper speck. Just want to thank Shayne for a great overall experience! J and J.

Shayne is the real deal. Even though our trip was tough, he still managed to put us on fish. Upmost professional and even entertained my 7-year-old for the entire afternoon. If you go with another guide, you’re wasting your time and money.
