Port O'Connor Jetty Fishing Reports (July 2026)

Sheeps are in. Come get you some.

Drum bite has been great on fresh dead shrimp. Trout are good on popping corks along with reds along the shoreline.

Still finding fish despite the weather changes.

Inconsistent weather has us chasing down redfish and the results are good Slower bites then normal in the cold but the fish are just as hungry.

Trout bite has been steady!

Been out for a few weeks. Just got back fishing today. Lotta big reds.

Redfish continue to steal the spot light. As the warm weather continues to heat up our waters the longer the fish are staying active.

Big fish are always fun and exciting to catch, most people fish to catch some fish for dinner, but there are always trophy hunter out there, people post big fish, but they are kinda rare, although there are days when it's magical, The stars align and BAM you fill the boat, like when Jesus said....throw your nets over the side, it's amazing when people have faith and passion And confidence....it just happens, I've seen it not once but many times when people are Confident,, they catch, the negative don't , so my advice is come and have a great attitude...
