Fishing is red hot in Galveston bay. Catching specks, redfish, flounders, drums and sheepheads. The water temperature is 68 degrees. Use live shrimp over shell and rock. With a full moon it's an early bite. Now the time to go while the kids out of school for spring break. Thanks Captain Mike

Last few trips have been mostly catch and release trips. Did not take a lot of pictures. Most days we are finding a good bite using artificial lures from the boat. Some days it takes time for the bite to materialize. Recent weather patterns are indicating an early spring. Water temperature have already reached mid 70 degrees. The shad spawn has already begun. So we will be using smaller baits to get our bites for the next 30days or so. Popping cork and shrimp will also become an effective method for catching fish.

The backwater is holding lots of redfish, some trout and some large sheepsheads. We’re using live shrimp fishing 4 to 6 feet deep along rocks. Spring Break is right around the corner, it’s time to get your kids outdoors!

Had a great time with Captain Ryan. We limited out on speckled trout and learned some new techniques. Good teacher and patient with our inexperienced group. Would hire him again!

We had a great fishing trip with Ryan in the Intracoastal near the San Bernard River. Caught 8 keepers but had lots of action that we caught and released. Very knowledgeable. Our grandson had a ball!

Ryan worked his butt off and everybody caught something. Trip ended on a high note with a 27 inch trout.

Captain Ryan, is an excellent guide. We got our limit on large trout in less than two hours. Good show Ryan, thanks Randy 😊
