Yellowfin tuna are also biting well this week, with fish weighing between 20-100lbs being caught. The tuna are being caught using cedar plugs and live bait, and the best locations for catching them are around the San Jaime Bank and the 1150 Spot.
Mahi-mahi, also known as dorado, are also being caught in good numbers this week. They are being found in the same areas as the tuna, and they are being caught using lures and live bait. Mahi-mahi caught this week have been averaging between 10-30lbs, with a few larger fish also being caught.
Overall, the fishing conditions in Cabo San Lucas are excellent this week, and anglers are encouraged to take advantage of the great catches available. With calm seas and plenty of fish, it's a great time to be out on the water.
The fishing in Cabo San Lucas has been excellent lately, with great catches of marlin and yellowfin tuna being reported. Anglers have been having a lot of success targeting these game fish species both inshore and offshore.
Marlin fishing has been particularly productive, with both striped marlin and blue marlin being caught in good numbers. The best fishing for marlin has been offshore, with many charters heading out to the deeper waters beyond the 1,000 fathom line. The best fishing for marlin has been offshore, with many charters heading out to the deeper waters beyond the 1,000 fathom line. Live bait and lures have both been working well, and anglers have been having the most success using lighter tackle with a lot of action.
Yellowfin tuna fishing has also been strong, with many anglers reporting good catches both inshore and offshore. Tuna are being caught on live bait, lures, and chunk bait, and are often found feeding around floating debris or schools of smaller fish. The average size of the tuna being caught has been around 25-40 pounds, but larger fish are certainly possible.
Overall, the fishing in Cabo San Lucas is in great shape right now, with excellent opportunities to catch marlin and yellowfin tuna. Anglers looking to target these species should consider booking a fishing charter with an experienced captain and crew, who can provide the equipment, expertise, and knowledge needed for a successful and enjoyable fishing trip.

Manuel and Manuel Jr were great! Very friendly, informed and professional. Kept a neat comfortable boat and put us on the fish early. Came home with 3 nice Mahi/dorado and a yellowfin tuna. Definitely would recommend and will return to fish with them if I get back to Cabo.
Luis and crew were amazing, from the moment we left the dock they made sure we had snacks and drinks and we were on our way fishing! 15 min into trip we hooked a Mahi Mahi and then it slowed but Luis and his crew didn’t give up. They were changing lures and doing everything they can to get us on the fish. We were not far from marina on our way back and hooked into a Marlin! Checked all the boxes for us on the trip and highly recommended the Blue Marlin boat.
Great day spearfishing with a great guide and captain. Luis was great. He got us on fish and gave us plenty of instruction while being available to help with reloads and give points on improving our hunting.
We had a great time on our Cabo Fishing Trip. Captain Edward and his mate got us on a big Marlin within minutes. We also hooked onto some Roosters, but weren’t able to land them.
Captain Eduardo was quick to respond to his booking and returned communication quickly. His mate and him were very knowledgeable of the fishing grounds. He was very personable. The expectations of the fishing trip was exceeded. I will go again if back in the area. You will not be disappointed if you book with him.
What can I say, that day the water was very ruff and we caught two Wahoo fish one 60 pounds and one 50. The crew was amazing from the food to helping us with moving about the boat too recovering the fish. Definitely my best fishing trip experience I have had. Will definitely go back and charter with Blue sky.
