Hot weather temps in December has lead to hot fishing! This time of year if the weather and conditions are right, magical things can happen in the Everglades. In two days we hooked 7 fish on fly and 4 on spin. All fish were over 50lbs with the biggest close or over 150lbs.

June The summer bite is on fire! Offshore trips are producing solid numbers of mahi, with blackfin tuna and grouper also in the mix. Snapper action remains strong on the reefs. Inshore, tarpon are still active during summer nights, and we’re seeing good bites from trout, snook, and the occasional jack. Both offshore and inshore trips are producing great action—now’s a prime time to get on the water!

Sailfish and mahi-mahi have been showing up consistently; live baiting and trolling have been working very effectively; no need to head too far offshore. All these fish are on the reef or no further than the 50 line. Use fresh baits. Book a three-quarter day trip to give your crew enough time to put you on a fish of a lifetime. Full moon has been producing really nice wahoo. We also been getting some nice golden tiles when the current is right and the wind is blowing from the north. It's perfect conditions. The fishing is heating up as spring time approaches.

Peacock Bass spawn is going on right now. We are getting them on the beds. Also, we have gotten two double-digit largemouth bass weighing in over 10 pounds in the last two months, and the iguanas are everywhere. Needless to say. Offshore bike has been very consistent, catching sales Kings Bonita and some big grouper on the bottom rod. We are ending prime time for sale fish, and starting mahi season.
