If you are visiting the area and staying in hotels on the beach, you have probably noticed some effects of Red Tide. The first things you may notice are a scratchy throat and coughing. The next thing you may witness are dead fish. Unfortunately, there has been a Red Tide bloom that has continued to plague the Pinellas coastline and kill fish for over three months now.
The good news is there are no signs of Red Tide in upper Tampa Bay where I’m located and the fishing is excellent. The snook, redfish and seatrout are plentiful and more than...

The good news is there are no signs of Red Tide in upper Tampa Bay where I’m located and the fishing is excellent. The snook, redfish and seatrout are plentiful and more than
willing to take a bait.
So, what are you waiting for? Book your adventure now, and let’s go catch some fish!

With temperatures in the mid-80s the last couple of weeks, it’s hard to believe it’s still winter. Especially, since it’s snowing in much of the country. Visitors are not only enjoying our spectacular weather, but have the opportunity to experience some of Tampa Bay’s outstanding fishing too.
With water temperatures hovering in the mid-70s, the snook, redfish and seatrout fishing is excellent. There have been days lately where I ran two, four-hour charters back-to-back catching fish all day. This is good news for the upcoming Spring Break season, because I only look for the fishing to get better as spring...

So, if you’re here vacationing or live here through the winter, now’s a good time to plan a fishing trip. Just pick up the phone and give me a call, I’d be happy to show you the adventure of a lifetime.

The mangrove snapper are always biting inside Tampa Bay and as the water warms up the bite will get better. Along with the warming water temperatures the snook and redfish will be firing up.

February fishing has been filled with busy days and bringing fish to the cleaning table.
Mother nature has had the fan turned on, which has been mostly keeping us inshore,
Which is been just fine with us. Our customers have been. Staying busy with a lot of action . I would say the fish of the month has been lots of keeper speckled trout. And once we've gotten our limit, the snook and redfish have also been very cooperative. We've been making a 15 mile run. To catch greenbacks oh yes and 15 miles back but it has been worth...

We’ve had a shot of spring weather and aside from a couple of 50° mornings temps have been surging to upper around 80° in the afternoon for the past couple of weeks. This has warmed the Tampa bay waters to a friendly, 75° and has really lit a fire for our inshore fishing trips , and has put the fish in some of our early spring transitional fishing areas. snook, redfish, trout, and Jack Crevalle have all been on the hit list

Cold temperatures dipping into the 30s and 40s have turned on the sheepshead bite. They can be caught all over the bay and near shore reefs.

Well, two weeks ago, the water tem dropped 12 degrees in a day and a half due to a strong cold front that came over the state of Florida and shut down our inshore fishing bite one thing we deal with is acclamation, whether the water drop or rises, can shut the fish down for a few days so our focus is fishing around the hot water discharge at local power plants this actually opens up fishing opportunities for us what we only get when the temps plummet sharks, Pompano, Permit, and cobia are just part of the fish that...

After the record Christmas cold front the water here dropped over 10 degrees in a couple of days. But, the Red Tide dissipated and left cleaner water. The local reefs(and hard bottom areas withing a couple miles) have been best. Lots of Key West Grunts, along with a steady sheepshead bite and occasional Redfish, Flounder and other stuff. The Sheepshead bite should only get better and the Flounder normally start going off as well. Should be a decent start to 2023 in terms of nearshore fishing over here out of Madeira Beach.

Captain George was all around great! On time, very knowledgeable and attentive with great instructions for each fish type we were chasing. Extremely professional and did an excellent job cleaning the catch so we could make for dinner too. All around great time.

Captain Gorge is top notch. He put us on fish and worked the entire time we were fishing. Everyone had a great time and we caught a variety of species. I will definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to chatter fish. Five star +.

I had an amazing day on the water with Capt. George! I mentioned early on in the trip I had never hooked into a Snook before. George made it his mission to remedy that! He knew exactly how to find our target species. With some professional tips from George I reeled in over a dozen hard fighting Snook! When the bite turned off, he knew right where to look next and we were on them again. There were several boats around, and we were the only ones catching! To wrap up our trip we caught some speckled trout and mangrove snapper to fill the cooler as well! Highly recommend Capt. George!
