So Fishing in Key Largo is still been very good for me. We've limited out some of the days and caught a few rainbow runners and a few barracuda.

Fishing in Key West has been good lately. As the summer rolls in the snappers are spawning and yellowtail mutton and mangy's have been eating well along the reefs. Dolphin have been showing up but not in great numbers as of yet. Just a few big ones here and there and plenty of tiny ones. Hoping for that to turn into bigger fish soon.

Key West has had perfectly calm summer camp conditions with lots of sargasso grass to be found that is holding a lot of Mahi-Mahi. You can pretty much count on filling the box with some nice fish on 8 or 6 hour offshore trip. The current hasn't been terrible so we've been able to do some really good deep dropping although snowy grouper was closed early. We're still picking up a lot of good blue tiles. And the Reef is still producing a very, very good red grouper, mutton, and yellowtail bite for the folks that want to stay a...

With these really, really warm and calm conditions we've been doing a lot of of Lionfish diving. Folks have really been able to fill up on them. I want to remind everybody too. They were only six weeks away from the opening of lobster season on August 6! Spots are filling up so book soon if you wanna get out and get your limit of lobsters

South Florida Fishing Report Offshore action has been steady, with mahi fishing producing decent results in depths ranging from 900 to 1,500 feet of water. Anglers are finding success around broken debris and floating seaweed lines, where schools of mahi have been holding. Both artificial lures and live baits have been effective, giving fishermen plenty of opportunities throughout the day. On the reef, the snapper bite has really started to heat up. Yellowtail snapper have been the primary target, with solid catches of mangrove snapper and mutton snapper as well. We’re also still picking away at some quality red and...

Yellowtail snapper have been the primary target, with solid catches of mangrove snapper and mutton snapper as well. We’re also still picking away at some quality red and black grouper here and there. If you’re looking for consistent action and a variety of species, this is one of the best times of the year to get out on the water. The reef is alive with activity, and the offshore mahi bite continues to provide exciting opportunities for anglers of all experience levels.

Had a great day with Captain Dan and first mate. We pomptly set off and had a fantastic time pulling in a Mahi and half a dozen tuna. The trip was as much as we hoped for…good weather, great crew, and some fish to be cooked at a local restaurant. Highly recommend this charter and will definitely be booking again for some other fishing if/when we make it back to the Keys. Thanks Dan and Pete!

    Trip: Snorkel & Fish Combo

This was honestly one of the most disappointing charters I’ve had. I’ve booked numerous charters all over and in the keys. I realize fishing is fishing but we were greeted by a captain other than Dan, great guy but not what I expected honestly. Our vessel wasn’t prepared and ready to go so we waited longer than was expected and it pushed other plans back even further. We caught one 12.5 inch yellow that was big enough to keep. On other charters the boat is quite well prepared and ready to change course quickly to get you on the fish, not the case, granted it was a shorter booking I’ve still had much better equipped captains and vessels. So to spend the day bobbing for non existent apples was not at all ideal. It was so boring my wife and son chose to nap. So just be aware that if you choose this charter it may not go at all to plan. Sadly it was a waste of precious vacation time. I typically hate reading negative reviews and have never personally left one, but this seemed appropriate given the outcome. Good luck.

Captain Dan and Ryan were fantastic. The ocean was pretty rough that day but they helped us have a great time and pull in quite a few fish. We’ll be back again next year and will definitely look to hire them again!

We had a great day on the water with Captain Jim. He is incredibly knowledgeable about fishing in the keys. We would definitely rebook a charter with him.
