Update 6/12 fished south today and caught a sail right off in about 200 ft. Pushed in to the ledge and fought scattered grass. Could not keep the lines clean Managed 3 dolphin and pulled the hook on a large dolphin We have openings next week and weekend fishing has been good for the most part but the scattered weed put a damper on catching.

We had a fun family outing today, spent 2.5hrs in the harbor fishing for bull reddrum using fresh caught menhaden. Our eldest son only has use of one arm so forgive his way of holding the bull, but he got him to the boat so had to get a photo!

Inshore in the charleston area the redfishing has been incredible. This month you can expect to catch reds and seatrout.
The good quality sized sea trout should show up by the end of October.
Along the beaches the big bull redfish should be making their presence known in big numbers s the water Temps begin to cool down. But currently if you want to go fishing, the Inshore bite has been great, with lots of big redfish being caught Inshore! If you would like to fish in Charleston or the surrounding book your trip with me and will get into...
