    Trip: Garzilla Gar Fishing Near Palestine

    My wife, two children, and I booked an alligator gar trip with Garzilla while visiting Texas, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We drove about four hours from Marble Falls to Palestine, and it was absolutely worth it. Our guide (Evan) was knowledgeable, respectful, patient, and great to spend the day with. His boat was very clean and well maintained. He took the time to explain everything and made sure everyone had a chance to catch fish. The only thing that could have made this trip better was if evan had put me on the biggest fish (approx. 165 lbs.) But more importantly, every one of us caught one and had a great experience. If you're thinking about booking a gar trip, I highly recommend Garzilla. We made some great memories and would gladly do it again.
