The bite has really picked up in the last couple of weeks. Shrimp under popping cork. Top water bite is awesome early morning and throwing plastic for Flounder and Trout!

Galveston bay is still putting up some nice stringers. Artificial and live shrimp have been working on the speckled trout. Live shrimp have been the ticket for redfish.

Fishing is in full swing. With consistent weather, winds and water temperatures the fish have congregating in the same area of being able to locate them relatively in that same location every day. Fishing has been beyond great and will continue to get better with the consistency of these water...

In Galveston West Bay Reds and Flounder have been equally consistent on both artificials and live bait. Trout have been up and down as far as numbers per trip but will be picking up more and more as the month goes on.

Redfish is going crazy in Galveston bay. Using live shrimp fish close to standing rocks off the ship channel. The Galveston Jetties holding lots of pan fish along with some trout and drum fish. Overall fishing is good in the Galveston complex.

It was a windy day but Jonathan took us right to a honey-hole out of the wind. The rods and reels were ready to go and easy to use. We caught fish all day long and came home with a nice haul which Jonathan cleaned and bagged for us. He even directed us to a local restaurant that cooked up a few of our fresh filets for dinner. It was a great day from beginning to end!

We had great communication and helpful tips with Captain Lance's team from the moment we booked. He promised our crew of six LandLubbers that we’d be catching a bunch of fish on St. Patrick’s Day … and that’s exactly what we did! Our take on the day: some sheepshead, flounder, a bonnet-head shark, and the prize catch: a 35-inch redfish! Even Captain Lance was proud of that one – “about the biggest fish you’re ever going to catch with light tackle!” Then to finish things off, he expertly cleaned our fish … and offered some great tips on how to prepare them. We’ve been eating delicious fish dinners ever since! Thanks, Captain Lance, for memories that will last a lifetime!
