About Your Trip

If you’re looking for a classic Galveston fishing adventure packed with history, local knowledge, and rod-bending action, look no further than a Jetty trip with Captain Jerry! With a family legacy stretching back to the 1920s and a lifetime spent on these waters, Captain Jerry brings generations of experience to every trip—and it shows in the unforgettable days he delivers for anglers of all kinds.

These 4-hour Jetty trips are designed to put you right
in the action along the famed Galveston Jetties, known for their consistent inshore bites and variety of fish. You’ll depart either early in the morning (6:30 AM) or midday (12:30 PM), depending on your preference. Once you're out there, it’s time to drop lines and get after Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and more—whatever’s biting that day!

Your trip will take place aboard a restored 30’ Chris Craft Flybridge, a classic sportfisher that blends vintage charm with modern upgrades. With air-conditioning, a full kitchen, a clean restroom, and even a bed to take a breather between bites, this boat delivers both comfort and functionality. The flybridge offers a great perch for spotting fish, while the livewell keeps your bait fresh and the icebox ensures your catch stays cool.

Captain Jerry runs Shimano and Penn gear, and your trip includes everything you need—rods, reels, live or artificial bait, tackle, and even a first mate to help keep things running smoothly on deck. Want to bring home dinner? Your catch will be cleaned and filleted back at the dock, ready to hit the fryer, grill, or skillet. Just keep in mind: all Sharks and Stingrays are catch-and-release only.

These jetty trips are a great fit for anglers of all experience levels, from families and first-timers to seasoned pros looking for a laid-back day on productive water. Just bring your sunscreen, favorite snacks and drinks, and be ready to make memories on the salt.

Important note: Please allow at least 48 hours’ notice when booking so the crew can be fully prepared for your trip. Children under 6 are not permitted onboard for safety reasons.

Book your Galveston jetty adventure today and let Captain Jerry show you what fishing with a true local legend is all about!
