About Your Trip

Looking to tangle with toothy giants just off the Texas coast? From May 1 through October 1, this seasonal Shark Trip delivers all the adrenaline-pumping action you can handle, targeting some of the fiercest predators roaming the Galveston shoreline and nearshore waters.

You’ll head out at either 6:30 AM or 12:30 PM for a 4-hour, catch-and-release only experience where you’ll go after some of the most thrilling shark species the Gulf has to offer. From
aggressive Blacktips and speedy Spinners to Hammerheads, Bonnetheads, Sand Sharks, and more, every hook-up promises a fight that’ll get your heart racing. These beachside bruisers are serious fun on rod and reel—and every battle is a memory in the making.

For the best experience, this trip is limited to four anglers, giving everyone onboard plenty of space and hands-on time with the action. You’ll be fishing aboard a 30’ Chris Craft Flybridge, a comfortable and capable vessel with modern upgrades that include air-conditioning, a galley kitchen, a restroom, and even a bed for those quick mid-trip breaks. The flybridge offers a perfect vantage point to scan for surface activity and signs of feeding sharks.

Captain Jerry provides all the gear you’ll need, including top-tier Shimano and Penn rods and reels, a variety of bait options, and all the necessary tackle. A professional first mate will be onboard to help you make the most of your experience, from baiting hooks to coaching you through each fight. While these sharks are all catch-and-release, the excitement of the encounter is the true reward.

Please note that this trip requires at least 48 hours’ advance notice so the crew can prepare the proper gear and bait. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted onboard due to safety concerns. Some offshore runs may involve an additional fuel surcharge, so be sure to check with Captain Jerry when booking.

If you’re ready to lock into something big and wild this summer, this trip is your ticket to the ultimate shark-fishing showdown on the Gulf. Just bring your sunscreen, your drinks, and your sense of adventure—the sharks are waiting.
