With 400,000 sockeye salmon having entered the Nushagak River yesterday, bringing the total escapement to over 1 million for the year, the fishing prospects look very promising. Wonderful to see such a successful season—looks like excellent fishing will continue for the upcoming weeks. Book your trip today

We've had some very good fishing lately near Portland Oregon. This should hopefully continue for the next month or so. Then lead right into the best chinook fishing of the year in August and September

Hey how's it going, fishing had been good. Just the start of the run for summer steelhead! It's only going to get better. Peak time is end of June-July.

Our guide Captain Ken was excellent! Fishing with him everything was relaxing, calm and kicked back enjoyable. Boat was clean and all the gear was wonderful shape. He is a great guide highly recommended. Thanks for everything Ken, we really appreciate it

I've concluded my Kalama river spring Chinook season. There's always next year. Most of my regulars fish the same day every year so there are limited spots available. Here's some photos from the season. This season runs second week in April through last weekday in May.

His equipment is all impressive and well maintained, he carefully explained safety procedures, he also happily shared a lot of valuable information with us about future fishing endeavors.
