Catch and release sturgeon fishing has been phenomenal on the Willamette River in Portland Oregon with days of 10 to 40 Sturgeon caught per trip. Also Walleye fishing on the Columbia is starting to pick up as the water is warming a few degrees. Big females are being caught and...

Catch and release sturgeon fishing has been phenomenal on the Willamette River in Portland Oregon with days of 10 to 40 Sturgeon caught per trip. Also Walleye fishing on the Columbia is starting to pick up as the water is warming a few degrees. Big females are being caught and we've been catching some large trophies lately. Astoria Oregon buoy 10 is off to a great start. We're catching fish in the double digits daily with fish up to 30 pounds and quite a few in the high teens

Still fishing summer run steelhead, some nice fish are around right now. Going to be changing gears here soon and start fishing fall chinook/coho on the Columbia river at bout 10 next month.
