Amberjack, Mahi Mahi
Summer time is in full swing and, for us that men's calmer seas, and beautiful clear water to fish. Reef and wreck has been a bit of a challenge with warmer water temps bringing in more shark activity, some days have been tougher than others but we still managed to put some nice boxes together of yellowtail, and more Offshore bite has been decent with a very consistent almaco jack and amber jack bite. Mahi have been a bit a of a roller coaster with some strong weeks early on and a few tough days in between to find quality fish. On tough Mahi days the tuna have been great on vertical jigs and live bait, and also had some great deep drop opportunities for vermillion and more.
