About Your Trip

Head out with Captain Travis for some inshore fishing fun as you explore the beautiful Georgia coast chasing down trophy inshore species that call this beautiful estuary home!

Captain Travis is committed to creating an eco-friendly charter for you and protecting the beautiful Georgia coast. The Georgia Bight is home to vibrant ecosystems. It is one of the healthiest estuary systems on the Atlantic coast that serves as a habitat for our fisheries and other
marine life. In order to keep it that way, Captain Travis highly encourages catch and release practices. Captain Travis' trips are geared toward quality catches, pursuing your next trophy, and enjoying the pristine wildlife abound. That being said, if you'd like to take home a couple fillets home for dinner, Captain Travis will happily clean a fish or two for you to take home!

On the day of your trip, you will hop aboard Captain Travis' 21ft Tidewater Bay Max that boat delivers a smooth ride and the ability to visit shallow waters for fishing. All his trips are all-inclusive as he'll provide bait, rods, tackle, iced down coolers, water and fishing licenses. and boat transportation included. All he reccomends you bring are any other snacks and drinks you'd like to enjoy, sunglasses, and your weather appropriate gear (rain jackets recommended).

Captain Travis launches from a couple different boat ramps in the area. He will reach out to you in the days leading up to the trip to discuss and confirm your meet-up location. It will depend on the conditions, tides, time of the season, and where your staying! This allows for the best experience possible.

Travis was great. We found fish right away and he was able to pinpoint several good spots after that. He’s conservation minded and knowledgeable and a good guy to spend a few hours with.
