Captain Allen is a life long resident of Apalachicola. He and his family has been catching, buying and selling seafood from Apalachicola Bay since they used to row out to the oyster bars because the outboard motor had not yet been invented. So to say this bay runs through our veins is an understatement. This bay has provided us with everything we have ever needed or wanted. Both my brother and I are fishing guides and take very seriously our job, which is not simply to take people fishing. It’s to show them where we’re from and why we’re so proud of our little slice of the world. I hope to help preserve its beauty and natural resources for our kids, their kids and future generations. We live in a very special area that you need to experience first hand to understand.
