Take your kids out on the water and get them hooked on fishing! Captain Marvin will teach them how to fish in the calm waters of the Hogtown Bayou and Choctawhatchee Bay—both perfect places to learn how to cast and retrieve. This is mainly a catch and release trip, but if you catch something worth eating, Captain Marvin will filet it and let you take it home for dinner! If you don’t want to keep the fish, Captain Marvin is experienced in CPR fishing – “Catch, Photo, Release”. This way, you’ll ensure you do minimal harm to the fish you catch, which will then be safely released back into its natural habitat. On this easygoing trip, the kiddos will be targeting Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout. Captain Marvin primarily uses live bait, but is happy to use artificial as well. captain Marvin worked hard for us fishing was rough with conditions of the day would book again . only thing was when paying the bill I was surprised to find out that my $138.00 deposit and 35.00 taxes was not part of the total trip price quoted. the final price with deposit and taxes came out to be $863.00 not $690.00 and that's what I paid . plus including tip of $120.00 witch I felt was deserved Not sure why this came out this way but I found this misleading quoted $690.00 total price paid $863.00 plus tip I was told that that's the way it works at captain experience . not the way I was use to …

Good day on the water. Rained all night before, but he found the fish and made sure we came home with dinner
Caught lots of sea trout. Even caught a sting ray. Captain Marvin worked hard to make sure we had fun. Will book another trip next time we come down.

Captain Marvin was awesome. He took time to answer my kids questions, was very professional. Also he got us on the fish, we were even able to be reeling them in all at the same time. We will definitely be going back to Captain Marvin when we visit next year. …
I would highly recommend booking a trip with Capt Marvin. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and put us on fish all day. He works extremely hard to make sure that we are on fish at all times. He will not let you sit if the fish are not biting. His fishing techniques are fantastic for anglers of all levels and everyone on the boat was able to bring in fish. …
Brought my 7yo and 3yo on this trip and Captain Marvin put us on the fish! The kids were there for the entire 4 hrs and had blast. My young son and I had the pleasure of going out on a 2 hour fishing trip with Captain Glasgow. He was ready to go on time, his boat had everything we needed and he was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the fish. He was excellent with my son providing encouragement and “slapping high fives” every time he caught a fish. Needless to say we caught a ton and made memories that will last a lifetime. We will definitely book again with Captain Glasgow and would highly recommend him for your next fishing adventure! …
I was lucky enough to find Captain Marvin and book a trip for my two boys. The weather was not ideal but Capt Marvin did a great job keeping me in the loop as we waited to see if we would be able to fish. He made the most out of the conditions and worked extra hard to give my boys a chance to catch a fish of a lifetime. I have fished with other guides and it’s obvious when the guide is giving you his best shot to accomplish what you are wanting to experience. Capt Marvin went the extra mile and it paid off. We can’t wait to fish with him again when the weather is more favorable! …
