About Your Guide

Fishing is Captain Kevin's passion and "being of service" is his specialty. Providing you, your family and your friends with a safe and enjoyable Virginia Beach or Chesapeake Bay fishing adventure is what he does. To him, a successful day is one that gives everyone special memories of a fun time, as well as bringing a great days’ catch back to the dock!

Captain Kevin understands that everyone has different expectations of what a day of fishing should be. No need to worry if you’re new to the sport of fishing because he loves to teach and he or his crew will gladly give you tips until you get the hang of it. He can’t wait to see the smile on your face when you catch your first fish, especially if you are a kid!

If you’re an "old pro," Captain Kevin will let you get as involved as much you want. He's not the type of guide that won’t let you touch the gear until a fish has been hooked. With him, you’re welcome to roll up your sleeves and fish your way, the way that’s comfortable to you. He wants you to have a good time and engage in the fishing experience to what ever extent you desire. It would be his pleasure to be your charter Captain for an exciting day of fun and fishing in the Chesapeake Bay!

Head out with Captain Kevin for an inshore charter adventure off of Virginia Beach for popular species including Striper, Sea Bass, Bonnethead Sharks, Spadefish, and more! There are also a plethora of different Shark species that swim in the coastal waters surrounding Virginia Beach and the Chesapeake Bay during the summer months, including Hammerheads, Bull Sharks, Tiger Sharks, and more! Because of its mild climate, Virginia Beach charter fishing is great all year round. Our warmer waters bring many fish species to the region.  Add to this the Chesapeake Bay close by, and you can see why the Virginia Beach coast is one of the best saltwater angling regions in the world. Captain Kevin is dedicated to providing a five-star experience and would love to show your party a great and memorable time while visiting us in Virginia Beach fishing with Captain Kevin. No matter how old they are, kids love fishing! Captain Kevin is standing by to give your entire family some great fishing experiences that will add timeless memories to your vacation. Read More

trip description for Chesapeake Bay Fishing Trip in Virginia Beach

A Nearshore adventure consists of a few more options like fishing the Chesapeake Bay or from the Bay Bridge Tunnel to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay for species like Striped Bass(Rockfish), Flounder, Croaker, Spot, Red Drum, Cobia, Sheepshead, Spadefish and Shark. Another charter destination we head to is the Chesapeake Light Tower (14 miles from Rudee Inlet), where you will fish for Black Sea Bass, Tautog, Sheepshead, Cobia, Flounder and Spadefish. Spadefish is a great fight pound for pound on light tackle. Another option available is to stop at some of the nearshore wrecks located along the Virginia Beach coastline up to 25 miles from Rudee Inlet. There you will be targeting Black Sea Bass, Spadefish, Flounder, Triggerfish, Tautog, and Shark. These are great trips to fill up your cooler after a long day on the water — you may even get a chance to see other marine life such as dolphins, whales and sea turtles. Come out and enjoy all the beautiful coastal waters that Virginia Beach has to offer with Captain Kevin and crew. Read More
