Guided by Timothy Cleghorn
Duck Flats Inshore
With Captain Timothy, it's safe to say fishing runs in his blood; he comes from a long line of fisherman who have passed down generations of commercial and recreational fishing knowledge! His family got him started young, and he's been fishing since he can remember.
Captain Timothy's love for the outdoors drove him to turn his family's favorite past time into a career. He loves being out on the water and showing clients a great time whether they want to go fishing or duck hunting!
If you’re looking for an experienced guide with a successful track record on the water, you’re in the right place. Captain Timothy has been fishing these Coastal Bend waters for quite some time now and knows exactly where the fish bite! On your trip, you’ll be exploring Corpus Christi bay and other inshore honey holes between Corpus, Port Aransas, and Ingleside. These waters hold awesome populations of Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, and Black Drum that you can reel in aboard Captain Tim's 23-foot Mowdy. This boat is equipped with one 200HP Suzuki engine as well as a GPS, live bait well, and fishfinder. Don’t forget to bring a valid Texas fishing license, which you can purchase online, food and drinks for the day, sunscreen, and a hat. Captain Tim will provide all rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Live bait is included in the cost of the trip. Read More
South Texas is perfectly situated for epic waterfowl hunting. Located smack in the middle of the Central Flyway, the area is an annual stopover for millions of ducks, who come to rest in the protected bays and inshore waters while they migrate. Species here include Green-Winged and Blue-Winged Teals, Cinnamon Teals, Wigeons, Redheads, Pintails, Gadwalls, and Mottled Ducks—all of which are a blast to shoot and good eating as well. On this trip, your outfitter, Tim, will make sure to put you in the perfect spot to nail some inbound waterfowl. He'll provide the blinds and decoys, so all you need to bring is your waders, your guns, and your shells. You'll get out there before dawn, and hunt until 11 o'clock, so you can even be home for lunch! Read More
Captain Tim put us on some fish quick and often. Great trip and alot of fun
Tim was awesome. Caught fish all morning and had a blast. Truly a nice human and knows his area.
Tim was great. He worked hard to find fish on a slow day. Definitely recommend him.
Had a great time. Limited out by 10AM. Worked awesome with my son. Tim’s a perfect captain with the kids. Very patient.
What an absolute blast! Tim was a true gentleman, he took very good care of us. We began our day with a beautiful sunrise graced by God, followed by old country tunes, and FISH aplenty - we caught 6 red and 2 speckled trout. Tonight I’m cooking the speckled trout with a garlic lemon butter herb sauce and a side of roasted asparagus. This was such a memorable experience that we will treasure. Thank you, Captain Tim. …
Captain was friendly and professional. Knew some great spots and had some nice gear. 10/10 would book again.
We had an awesome trip. Guide called us the day before and let us know the afternoon bite has been better for him lately and asked if we wanted to move to the afternoon. We did and he wasn’t wrong. He put us on fish and we had a great time. We will book with him again when we are back in the area. I Highly recommend!! …
Booked last minute and glad to have had the experience with my 16yr old daughter. Her first time out and glad it was just her and I (plus Captain Tim). We got out quick to the spot and had fish in minutes. Ended up with 10 trout and 1 redfish (we were not targeting redfish but decided to keep the one we caught). After trout limit, Tim cleaned and bagged fish making the overall trip quick, easy and memorable. Would book again. …
Started the morning catching some nice Speckled Trout, finished by quickly catching our limit of 3 redfish for everyone in our group. Excellent captain and guide! Highly recommend!
Great experience during a tough fishing day. Capt Tim did his very best to find the best spots during a tough fishing day when many boats returned empty handed. We returned with three good sized redfish, plenty of laughs, and a boat full of memories. Will definitely look to book Capt Tim on a return trip …
