Fishing reports straight from our guides in Ingleside
Fishing the Coastal Bend in Port A and Aransas Pass has been steady even with water temperatures in the upper 80's and low 90's. Red Drum being caught on cut mullet, and Piggy Perch up shallow near grass lines. Black drum are scattered in deeper water off channel edges. Lots of trout being caught on grass edges with Piggy perch.

Trout have been red-hot on the Upper Laguna Madre — but only for early risers. Once the morning heat sets in, the bite shuts down fast, so if trout are the target, get on the water at first light.
As the morning warms, we shift gears to redfish. Once the sun climbs high enough to cut through the water, we start sight-fishing shorelines in about 2 feet of water. Bait activity and diving birds are the giveaway — find them, and the reds usually aren't far behind.
**Bottom line:** Trout early, reds mid-morning. Watch the bait and birds.

Fishings been pretty good lately with a lot of over sized fish being caught as well with undersized but all in all besides the heat it's been awesome

Fish bite was slow but still managed to get some quality reds in they only wanted to keep 5 to have for dinner!!
