Fly fishing Oklahoma's Mountain Fork River is done best with Captain Chris, one of the most experienced Oklahoma fly fishing guides around. Captain Chris discovered the Lower Mountain Fork River in 2007 after fly fishing from Banff Canada to the Appalachians.

After numerous annual visits, and after serving on the board of the Lower Mountain Fork River Foundation, Captain Chris decided to make the area his home in 2015. Locally, as landowners and business owners, he and his team have a personal stake in keeping the Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout fishery clean and improved each and every day.

Captain Chris and his team all guided trips to 3 anglers to ensure maximum level of attention. All equipment is provided, including rods, reels, flies, waders and boots. Simply purchase an Oklahoma fishing license and you're good to hit the water! Full day trips also include lunch at Beavers Bend Restaurant.

Come fish Beavers Bend of the Lower Mountain Fork River in Broken Bow Oklahoma with Captain Chris.

Levi was a great guide. He put us on some fish as a matter of fact. My girlfriend's first fish first trout. She ever caught in her life was a golden palamino, trout. When we get ready to book another trip, we will definitely be booking with you guys and preferably with levi. We had a great time.

Unfortunately Captain Chris was unable to guide my trip, but he provided Levi to guide us on our fly fishing adventure. The river was very crowded with family spring breakers but our guide put us on some very strong large trout. Turned out to be one of my best days in quite a while. My largest trout was 20 inches.

We had such an amazing time fly fishing! Our guide was truly incredible—so fun, insanely helpful, and full of great tips that made us feel like fishing pros (even if we totally weren’t!). He knew all the best spots, kept the vibes fun and easygoing, and made sure we were always learning without even realizing it. We caught some awesome fish, took the coolest pics, and laughed the entire time. If you’re looking for the...

Had a great half day on the river with Chris. We went right to the fish and a very productive session. I was concerned about severe weather in the area but Chris kept me informed in the days before and everything turned out fine. This is a great trip for people who want to try fly fishing ... I will definitely be going back.

Chris and Kit were both amazing. When the first fishing spot was loaded with anglers, he took us to his secret location off the beaten path. It was secluded and jumping with fish. It was my first time fly fishing, but after he taught us the cast, we were reeling in trout in no time. I'd book him again if I was fishing in the area.
