Fly fishing Oklahoma's Mountain Fork River is done best with Captain Chris, one of the most experienced Oklahoma fly fishing guides around. Captain Chris discovered the Lower Mountain Fork River in 2007 after fly fishing from Banff Canada to the Appalachians.

After numerous annual visits, and after serving on the board of the Lower Mountain Fork River Foundation, Captain Chris decided to make the area his home in 2015. Locally, as landowners and business owners, he and his team have a personal stake in keeping the Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout fishery clean and improved each and every day.

Captain Chris and his team all guided trips to 3 anglers to ensure maximum level of attention. All equipment is provided, including rods, reels, flies, waders and boots. Simply purchase an Oklahoma fishing license and you're good to hit the water! Full day trips also include lunch at Beavers Bend Restaurant.

Cap, polarized sunglasses, snacks, water. Waders in season, wading boots, fly rod, and flies included.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Chris will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 30 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 30 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Had a great half day on the river with Chris. We went right to the fish and a very productive session. I was concerned about severe weather in the area but Chris kept me informed in the days before and everything turned out fine. This is a great trip for people who want to try fly fishing ... Chris and Kit were both amazing. When the first fishing spot was loaded with anglers, he took us to his secret location off the beaten path. It was secluded and jumping with fish.
