Growing up on Cape Cod, Captain Doug spent most of his time on the water. In high school he worked on several different charter fishing boats learning the trade from some of the best in the business. In 2016 Doug went to captain school and received his 50 ton masters captain license and then started Between Alarms Charters. In 2020 he purchased his current boat, a 2010 26 foot sailfish center console. In 2023 he upgraded the motors to twin 175ho Suzukis. In the spring time he targets winter flounder, black seabass and striped bass. During the summer he continues fishing for striped bass but also targets summer flounder (fluke) and bluefin tuna. Come fall he is generally hunting bluefin tuna. When your trip is booked Captain Doug will reach out to confirm the booking, then he will reach out again a few days prior to the trip to go over the final details such as where to meet, what to bring and what to expect.

Hop aboard our 26 foot sailfish center console powered by two Suzuki outboard motors. Our trips are 4 hours in duration and we use many different techniques such as casting artificial baits, live bait, dead bait, bottom fishing and trolling. Deep Sea, Inshore, Nearshore Fishing Charter in Harwich
Come battle the pound for pound strongest fish in the North Atlantic. We’ve helped many people cross bluefin tuna off of their bucket list. Trips are 8-10 hours depending on location and fishing conditions. We use live bait, trolling, casting artificial baits and also vertical jig. Trip is limits to 4 passengers MAX. Regulations vary per year but per federal law, any bluefin tuna caught and kept that exceeds 73” must be sold BY the boat/ captain. Read More
