Southern Appalachian Anangler Guide Service

Mitch grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina, fishing the local creeks and rivers from a young age. That time on the water developed into a lifelong passion for the fisheries of the Southern Appalachians and an extensive knowledge of the waters surrounding Asheville.

Today, Mitch and his team specialize in Trout, Smallmouth Bass, and Musky trips throughout Western North Carolina. From floating larger rivers to wading mountain streams and headwaters, the crew knows how to adjust each trip around the season, conditions, and goals of the group.

All experience levels are welcome, from first-time fly anglers looking for hands-on instruction to experienced fishermen hoping to learn new water. With quality equipment provided and a knowledgeable local crew leading the way, Mitch and his team make it easy to get out and experience the mountain fisheries around Asheville.
