Explore the inshore and nearshore waters of North Carolina's Crystal Coast with Captain Gaib on a 4 or 6-hour fishing adventure out of Harkers Island!
Where you fish will depend on the weather, water conditions, and where Captain Gaib thinks you'll have the best shot at getting on fish. Stay protected inshore and work marshes, creeks, flats, and coastal waterways for species like Flounder, Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Sheepshead, or head toward the nearshore reefs
and wrecks in search of Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Bluefish, Bonito, Cobia, Amberjack, Snapper, Triggerfish, and other seasonal species.
The 4-hour trip gives you a solid half-day on the water and enough flexibility to fish either inshore or nearshore depending on the day's conditions. Captain Gaib can switch between techniques like light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, and drifting based on the species you're targeting.
The 6-hour trip gives you two additional hours to explore and fish, making it the better fit for anglers looking for more time to work productive areas or pursue a wider variety of species. The longer duration gives Captain Gaib additional flexibility to adjust the game plan as conditions and the bite change throughout the day.
For anglers looking for something different, spearfishing can also be accommodated by special request.
You'll fish aboard Captain Gaib's 23' Maycraft center console powered by a 200 HP Suzuki. The boat is equipped with GPS, a fishfinder, live bait well, wireless trolling motor, and spearfishing equipment.
Captain Gaib provides rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, and fishing licenses, and he'll clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip.
