Captain B's Surf Fishing Charters

Captain BF has spent decades learning the beaches, tides, and fish patterns of Florida’s Space Coast, building a reputation as an experienced surf angler and patient fishing instructor.

His fishing roots go back to childhood in South Carolina’s Lowcountry, where he was already catching and selling flounder to local seafood businesses at just nine years old. After moving to Florida more than 30 years ago, he turned his attention to the Atlantic beaches and developed a deep understanding of the surf fishing opportunities around Melbourne and Brevard County.

Today, Captain BF specializes in targeting Snook, Pompano, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, and other seasonal species directly from the beach. He spends plenty of time tracking tides, bait movement, sandbars, cuts, and changing beach conditions to figure out where fish are feeding.

Beyond guiding, Captain BF has competed successfully in surf fishing tournaments, earning multiple wins and top-five finishes. He also enjoys sharing what he has learned through fishing seminars, instructional events, and appearances with other anglers in the fishing community.
