You'll fish from a 23’ custom-built Dorado, handcrafted
in Ozona, FL. With an 8' beam and hybrid design, this boat handles both shallow flats and nearshore waters with ease. It’s equipped with a Yamaha 250 4-stroke engine, tower for spotting fish, a 50-gallon livewell, Garmin GPS/sounder, trim tabs for a smoother ride, and plenty of storage, shade, and seating to keep you comfortable throughout the day.
Target species include Redfish, Snook, Speckled Trout, Permit, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, and even Gag Grouper depending on the season and conditions. Captain Ryan uses a mix of light tackle, bottom fishing, and stealthy approaches—sometimes poling across the flats—to give you the best shot at success.
All fishing licenses, rods, bait, and safety gear are provided. Just bring your food, drinks (the cooler’s iced down), sun protection, and appropriate footwear. Whether you're a seasoned angler or it's your first time casting a line, Captain Ryan will put his local knowledge to work to deliver an unforgettable day on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
