Captain Justin is a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain, he moved to the Fort Lauderdale area from Northwest Indiana in 2017 leaving behind a successful steelhead fishing guide operation for over a decade. He cut his teeth targeting freshwater apex predators in skinny waters where you have to deal with endless trees and undergrowth. His skill with casting flies through, around or under vegetation adapted well to the urban fishing jungle of South Florida. Justin has spent countless hours on the water. We had a great day with Captain Justin. He communicated clearly well in advance, showed up exactly on time, and keeps his boat and gear in great condition. After a brief safety briefing and a few practice shots, we were off. Justin kept it fun the whole day and best of all, put us on the iguanas. We would do it again. Thanks!

Had a great trip with my 2 boys (18 and 21). Have fished with guides all over the US and Justin ranks very highly. Great day fishing in the Everglades with 8 species caught. Had a good lunch and then relocated to hunt in iguanas. Lots of iguanas and a great day of memories. Highly recommend!!

A few days before the trip, he provided us with weather updates and possible alternatives just in case the weather did not cooperate, which was huge given we were traveling from out of town. When we arrived, all the equipment was provided and provided us with all the instructions needed. We even got a little shooting practice to get our confidence up. The rest of the day was a blast, he knew all the best places to look, and we bagged 12 iguanas. Lastly, my son is 12 and familiar with a rifle but has yet to become an expert... Justin was great with helping and talking him through shooting off a boat and this environment; sometimes, you don't have the best patience, so his instruction was priceless. It was a great guide and overall experience, and I highly recommend it. We will be booking him for more next time we are back down.
