About Your Guide

Certified Damn Good Guide

Captain Kevin grew up fishing with his dad in Australia, spending any chance he got on the water. His grandfather gave him his first boat when he was 12, a 12-footer with 4 HP outboard.

He spent all of his youth out on the water, in the water, or near the water. In his early 20s, he worked as a scuba and freediving instructor in Sydney, Australia, spending 6 days a week in and under the water. Fast forward 15 years and he is a proud dad, husband, and US citizen who spends every chance he can get guiding clients, family, and friends on awesome fishing adventures.

He feels blessed to live and fish in an area that is beautiful, has a good fish population, and a great local community. He annually spends over 100 days on the water and on his days off from chartering he enjoys building custom rods, fishing his sons, and coaching his son's baseball team. "I invite you to come out, enjoy our beautiful area, and let me take care of you!!" - Captain Kevin

Fishing

Fun day! Captain Kevin had a family emergency but he didn’t let us down. Captain Mike took us out even though it was cold. We caught fish and had many bites. Better fishing than expected in the cold weather. Mike was funny and professional. He baited the hooks and helped with casting. We got to bring home filleted fish that tasted great. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Fishing

Put us on fish all day. Went and fished for what were wanting to catch. Had a shrimp boat come by when we were moving to another spot to fish and he drove us over to see dolphins and to see if any sharks. We did see one shark at one spot we were fishing. Did all he could do to make sure we had fish to take home to eat. We caught several different kinds of fish. Did not get any red fish to bring home. The ones we caught were to big to keep. Now that’s not a problem when you catch trophy fish. Caught a snook that was to big also and fought a tarpon that was the highlight of my day. He knows where fish are and how to catch them.

Fishing

Captain Kevin did a great job communicating with us prior to the trip. He was well prepared with all the tackle and bait we needed to include shrimp, small fish, and larger bait fish. We immediately went to catch some reds and snook, of which we caught many of both, all of which were too large to keep. We then caught plenty of snapper that fed our family of 4 that night. Captain Kevin was also amazing with our 2 boys who were 7 and 10 years old. Very patient, and kept them well entertained while Mom and Dad were able to fish for a while. This is the best fishing trip we have ever been on. Thank you Captain Kevin!

Fishing

I don’t even know how to explain how amazing our trip was in just this review. Capt Kevin was amazing. He put us on the fish right away and the action never stopped. From redfish and snook, to hunting triple tail, then finishing off with a huge blacktip shark. He has an amazing boat that is perfect for landing any type of fish. Capt. Kevin also taught us tips and tricks for fishing in general and I really learned a lot. 11/10 would recommend and will definitely be chartering again in the near future. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Fishing

Kevin was an amazing fishing guide! We were supposed to be 7am-11am, and mentioned we wanted to try to catch some tarpon, and he called us the night before and said that the fishing we were interested in was really good the last couple days earlier in the morning and asked if we wanted to go at 6 so we were able to catch some, and we really appreciated him wanting to make sure we got what we were interested in! We caught tarpon, snapper, a couple other fun fish, some bonitos and a shark! He explains things really well and is super helpful with casting and making sure you get fish. He filleted our snappers perfectly so we could take them to a restaurant. Very nice guy, 10/10 would recommend and book again!
