About Your Guide

George Sands

Independent Guide
Captain George and his team run a local, customer-focused operation out of Nassau, built around creating fun, productive days on the water. Alongside Captain Devonte and a dedicated crew, they bring years of experience fishing the surrounding reefs, wrecks, and nearshore waters, giving you a strong edge no matter your skill level.

They take a hands-on, easygoing approach—keeping things organized while making sure everyone stays involved and enjoying the experience. A professional first mate is always onboard to assist with baiting hooks, handling fish, and keeping everything running smoothly from start to finish.

Their trips are designed to be flexible and accessible, whether you’re looking for steady reef action, offshore trolling, or even spearfishing. With a focus on safety, service, and keeping rods bending, the goal is simple: put you on fish and make sure you have a great time doing it.

What really sets them apart is the overall experience—they don’t just help you catch fish, they’ll clean it up and even cook it for you, turning your day on the water into a true ocean-to-table adventure....

About Your Trip

Head out on the clear blue waters of Nassau for a fun, hands-on fishing trip with a local crew that knows how to keep things active and enjoyable. Whether you’re brand new to fishing or have experience, this trip is built around steady action, variety, and making the most of your time on the water.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 24’ Tidewater center console, a comfortable and capable setup for up to 8 guests. These
trips focus on a mix of bottom fishing, trolling, and light tackle techniques, with the flexibility to adjust based on what’s biting. Depending on the season, you could be targeting species like Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Grunt, Porgy, and even Tuna.

The 4-hour trips (morning or afternoon) are perfect for a quick, action-packed outing. You’ll spend time fishing reefs and structure, dropping lines for a variety of species with a great chance at consistent bites throughout the trip. It’s a great option for families, beginners, or anyone looking to get out and catch fish without committing to a full day.

One of the highlights of the experience is the “Cook Your Catch” option—after you reel them in, the crew will clean and prepare your fish right on the boat so you can enjoy a true ocean-to-plate meal.

Everything you need is included, from rods, reels, tackle, and lures to your fishing license, so you can show up ready to fish. Snacks, water, and soft drinks are provided, and you’re welcome to bring additional drinks (alcohol in moderation, no glass). A first mate is onboard to assist throughout the trip and keep everything running smoothly.

From steady reef action to fresh-caught meals on the water, this is a laid-back, well-rounded fishing experience in one of the Bahamas’ most scenic locations.
