We are a locally owned and operated business, offering private fishing charters out of Destin, FL. Capt. Jonathan is fort Walton beach native has fished the local waters for over 25 years and always wants to make your fishing experience as fun and memorable as possible. Whether you’re a beginner or a more experienced angler, you’ll have a day to remember. Capt. Jonathan is also very good with kids and always tries his best for every kid to get a chance at catching the fish of their dreams when given the opportunity.

Each trip consists of fun action-packed fishing on a Cape Horn fishing boat that is a 22’ center console, powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine and accommodating up to 6 guests. It features life jackets, GPS, a fishfinder, a live bait tank, an ice-box for your catch, a cooler to keep drinks and snacks cold, along with a trolling motor which allows you to fish more difficult spots around surrounding bridges and structure.

Capt. Jonathan is very familiar with the local waters always puts 100% effort in trying to make your day on the water a great one. They typically are fishing in the bayous and bay flats along with gulf trips when the weather is nice. The bay areas consist of fish like Redfish, Spanish mackerel, Bluefish, Speckled Trout, and an occasional Flounder. While fishing in the gulf when the weather permits you can target Vermillion and Red Snapper, Kingfish, Triggerfish, Grouper, Amberjack, and sometimes even a Shark!

The crew provides you with everything you need… rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live bait when fishing techniques require it. Along with everything to fish they also include fishing licenses for everyone on the charter so your only worry is what to eat and drink while spending your day on the water. capt Jonathan will crew also clean and fillet your catch once back at the dock and have it ready to cook!

What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?

I’ve been part of 600+lb Blue Marlins.. 150+YFT’s… some really nice swordys but personally probabaly a 92.6lb cobia inshore and 125lb yellowfin offshore.

If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?

As much as I love to fish, I’m an opportunistic fish eat eater and would cook deer rolls or rib eye dinner! lol

What’s your favorite band?

St Louis Cardinals

What makes you different from other guides?

I own and operate my boat so I put a lot more care and effort into the fishing opposed to an owners that just hires a Capt and pays them a wage. But fishing is ever changing…

We were very disappointed with our fishing experience on Monday morning, July 28, 2025.

Captain Jonathan was about 20 minutes late picking us up at the Docks.

On June 20, 2025, we reserved the guided fishing trip for 4 people for 4 hours. Only 3 people were able to fish at a time…so each person did not have a 4-hour fishing experience. This boat should only be booked for 3 people max.

Captain Jonathan made rude comments to us and was not helpful during our fishing trip. It seemed like he didn’t want to be there. If he doesn’t want to work with paying customers, he shouldn’t be a Fishing Guide.
