He is licensed vessel captain by the United States Coast Guard and has extensive safety training. Growing up in New Orleans, Captain Roy used to fish the salt water on weekends. That’s where his passion for fishing started. After moving to the DFW area in 1980, he started guiding on Lake Tawakoni and has spent 10 years fishing for Hybrid and Striper.
