Based out of the Everglades and surrounding waters, Captain Roy specializes in Peacock Bass and Largemouth Bass trips using light tackle. Whether you're chasing hard-fighting peacocks in urban canals or working weedlines for trophy largemouths, he’ll put you in the right spot at the right time.

You'll fish aboard a restored 20’ Stratos bass boat equipped with modern electronics and powered by a 200hp Mercury engine—fast, clean, and ready to go. All gear is included, along with a cooler stocked with ice and water. Just bring your hat, sunglasses, and fishing license, and get ready for a South Florida bass trip you won’t forget....

We had a blast with Captain Roy! We did the 4 hour trip and caught tons of fish. He has a nice boat that’s very safe. I cannot exaggerate how many fish we caught today. We had a fish before the first 5 minutes of casting and caught so many we couldn’t count. We caught lots of peacock bass, which is exactly what fish we wanted. We moved around spots and caught fish at all of them. Captain Roy was super helpful throughout the trip, funny, and very patient. Overall we had a great trip. Everyone had a good time (everyone caught lots of fish, even my dad who doesn’t fish much).

Roy was an absolute blast to spend time with on the water. Many fish were caught including largemouth bass and some sunnies. I got lucky with a cancellation and it was a 1:1 experience. We both fished and talked about everything under the sun. Good times!

Captain Roy was an excellent guide. He took me and my 7 year old son all over Lake Osborne. We caught a bunch of Peacock and Striped Bass. He was very patient and extremely knowledgable. Highly recommend this service and will definitely be back the next time I am in Florida.

Captain Roy was amazing in every facet of our trip. He communicated all the pre-trip info, including dropping a pin for the exact location to meet. He knew all the fishing hot spots and we caught quite a lot of fish (mostly peacock bass). He baited out lines and taught us how to flip cast. He is also a great guy with great stories.
