Trey was very accomidating and helpful throughout the trip. There wasn't a whole lot of fish that day (as was the case for the other boats), but we still managed to catch what we needed. Trey also gave us a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant to have our fish cooked. Thanks Trey! Tip well deserved! …

Trey was a fantastic guide. He made sure everyone had a fun hunt. Highly recommend this outgoing and energetic guide for any trips you may want to take!

Trip was fantastic and guide did a great job with setting everything up. Crushed the redheads and had a great time. Guide was very fun and helped everyone have a great attitude from the jump

Good time, good results.

Trey makes it extremely straightforward for you to get out there. Even on a self-guided trip the decoys are already set up, the blind is brushed, and the Trey is waiting at the ramp in the boat to take you to the blind and pick you up at the end of your hunt. Couldn’t be easier. …

Sometimes the fish don't bite and the ducks don't fly. I've had plenty of good experiences even when they didn't. Our outing with Trey was not a good experience. Our Cast & Blast trip with Trey was really horrible not just because we didn't shoot any ducks or catch any fish. It was all the things he should have done to make it a better trip. The positives: Trey stayed after it until time was up and he tried to be friendly and nice although he talks very loud and doesn't seem to listen to what anyone else says. And, Trey did warn us (albeit the night before) that the extremely high tide would affect the hunting and suggested that we hunt in the evening and fish in the morning. Unfortunately, we couldn't change our plans on the fly. Last, to his credit, Trey did offer to take us out next time at a discounted rate. If it hadn't been for these attempts at making our trip a good experience, I would have given a zero star review and demanded our money back. Here's what Trey needs to improve upon: 1) Pre-trip communication about where to meet was not clear. My adult son and I did not know if we were in the correct spot even after spending the prior evening trying to verify the location. 2) Trey showed up 10 minutes late. 3) Trey's boat was having mechanical problems so he dropped us off in the blind with an assistant guide and then Trey left to repair his boat. At that point we were trapped in the blind. The assistant shot 3 of our 4 ducks. He smoked without asking us if we minded. He did work hard but admitted he should have brought his Mojo ducks. 4) Knowing the ducks would be flying very high over our location, not having action-decoys was a very big mistake, in my opinion. 5) The assistant guide refused to call in Trey to come get us even though we were no longer seeing ducks. We needed to use the bathroom and were completely bored for the last hour and a half of the hunt. Once Trey did get us, we were made to feel like having our ducks cleaned by the guide was way over and above rather than a normal request. Then we went fishing. Trey told us the high tide made the fish spread out. We only caught one Redfish in 4 hours of trying. 6) As a professional fishing guide, I would expect Trey to have locations, techniques and baits that worked in low tide and other locations, techniques and/or baits that worked in high-tide conditions. Instead, Trey seemed to throw up his hands and go through the motions for 4 hours. 7) We use dead, frozen shad that the perch destroyed to the spine with 5 minutes of being cast out. Surely there is a better way to catch Redfish than sitting a shad head on bottom and hoping a fish comes along. 8) Trey should not BS about the fishing/hunting order. The tide was higher in the morning. Switching the order of the hunting then fishing would have made the fishing worse not better, if in fact the high tide was the problem. Last, I have fished with a number of guides. All would filet your fish as part of the service. Especially, with only one fish. Trey did filet the fish but did so without rinsing off the fish, cutting out the red and ribs and seemed to expect a gratuity for doing so. This was after waiting 15 minutes for Trey to get done dealing with the Game Warden regarding an altercation he had with other hunters the day before. Unless these thing are improved, I strongly recommend not fishing or hunting with Trey. …
