Jake, Ron, and Zach have been running this Peacock bass operation for the last 4 years. After years of collecting permission to fish over 70 private ponds around Fort Lauderdale, they decided to share their best fishing holes with clients. Jake runs trips full-time during the summer months, and Jake, Ron, and Zach run trips year-round. They catch so many fish on these short trips that they like to say, if their clients aren't worn out (hell if their thumbs aren't bleeding by the end!) then they didn't do their job! They will guarantee that you will catch peacock bass.
Are you ready to catch one of the most beautiful freshwater fish in south Florida? Fishing With Jake offers 2 hour and 4 hour charters where we will focus on catching peacock bass in Fort Lauderdale. We guarantee that you will catch some of these incredible fish. Our fishing charter is different from everyone else. We don’t use a boat so you don’t have to worry about getting seasick. We meet at one of the Bait And Tackle stores where you buy the live bait. After that you will get into one of our vehicles, and we will take you to anywhere from 5-10 of our best fishing spots. We love fishing with everyone including all ages and all skill levels. We provide all of the fishing gear including spinning rods and the hooks. Ron was awesome! As soon as the bait was cast, a fish was caught! My son has recently developed a passion for fresh water fishing and we could never catch anything. Ron definitely knows where to go and gave great tips and advice on how to find fish and how to catch them!
