About Your Trip

Get out on the Gulf with a trip designed to be flexible, hands-on, and focused on putting you on quality fish. Whether you’re looking for a quick nearshore run or a full day offshore, these trips are tailored to the season, conditions, and what’s biting best.

Depending on the time of year, you’ll target species like snapper, grouper, amberjack, triggerfish, and mackerel, with opportunities for mahi, sailfish, and more on longer runs. A mix of
techniques may be used throughout the day, including bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and light or heavy tackle depending on the situation.

The Experience

Trips range from 4 to 10 hours and can take you up to 9 miles offshore. Shorter trips are great for staying close and getting steady action, while longer trips allow for more range, variety, and a shot at bigger fish.

Along the way, it’s common to spot dolphins, sea turtles, pelicans, and other marine life, adding to the overall experience on the water. Each trip also includes a bit of downtime cruising across the bay to start and finish the day.

The Boat & Setup

You’ll be fishing aboard a 24’ center console built for both performance and comfort, equipped with GPS, radar, fishfinder, livewell, trolling motor with spot lock, and an onboard head inside the console.

All rods, reels, tackle, and licenses are included, so you can focus on fishing. Live bait is provided (and may be caught fresh depending on the plan for the day), along with bottled water. At the end of the trip, your catch will be cleaned and bagged for you.

Good to Know

These trips are priced per boat, not per person, making them a great option for small groups looking for a private experience. Captain Wes takes pride in keeping trips affordable while still delivering a high-quality day on the water.

Whether you’re chasing your first snapper or looking to load the cooler offshore, this is a laid-back, productive Gulf fishing experience built around your goals.
