Captain Jody offers Rockport fishing charters chasing Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and more all year round. With over 35 years of experience, Captain Jody is a professional, knowledgeable, and personable guide who loves sharing his time on the water with others. If hog hunting is more your speed, Jody also offers trips to help clean up the invasive hog problem in Texas.
Fish aboard Captain Jody's brand new 2019 25’ Haynie bay boat, complete with the latest marine electronics and safety gear, a 350 HP Mercury engine, a wireless trolling motor, and a live well for bait. The boat also has 2 onboard coolers, one for your refreshments and one for the catch, and can accommodate up to 4 anglers fishing at once.
Captain Jody will supply top-notch equipment (he mostly uses Falcon), and he's happy to fish with artificial lures and/or live bait.
The run to the grounds is never a long one, and you'll be casting to Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and Black Drum in no time.
After your trip, Captain Jody will clean and fillet your catch. Just purchase your Texas saltwater fishing licenses online beforehand, bring a few drinks and snacks, and you're all set for a great day out of Rockport, Texas!

Jody and his team conduct wild hog hunts on several ranches totaling almost 25,000 acres. Their Hog hunting Ranches are located in LaSalle and McMullen counties in South Texas. This is a two-day package hunt that includes meals, lodging and 4WD transportation. Hunting is done from tower blinds over feeders, driving ranch roads with high racked hunting vehicles, spot and stalk around water holes and tripods around cattle feeders for archers.
