I’ve been around boats all my life. I caught my first saltwater fish when I was 5 years old, it was a King fish. My grandparents took me out on their deep sea yacht, the Salty Dog and I got sea sick (lol) but my Papaw made me reel until he could grab n brought it onboard. I owned my first boat in the 1980s. I also was a deckhand for three seasons on my Uncle’s charter boat, a 72’ Custom Hatteras out of Bridgeport Marina in Texas. I’ve been a USCG Licensed Captain for over 10 years and dual licensed, Offshore and Inland. Time on the water is the Best Therapy.

How did you get started guiding?

My uncle chartered out of Freeport Texas for over 40 years. I got to deckhand for a few summers.

What makes you different from other guides?

May passion for the water. I try to encourage guest to feel the serenity away from land. This helps people to enjoy fishing as much as catching.
