About Your Trip

Head offshore from Darien, Georgia, with Captain Don for a full day of fishing the reefs, wrecks, and productive bottom structure off the Georgia coast! These 8- and 10-hour trips give you the opportunity to venture farther offshore, targeting a variety of hard-fighting species through a combination of trolling, bottom fishing, and jigging.

Depending on the trip length and conditions, you'll explore areas like the Navy Towers, Snapper Banks, and surrounding ledges. Drop baits to the bottom for Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, and other reef dwellers, or put out the trolling spread in search of King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and occasional pelagic visitors.

The 10-hour option allows Captain Don to push even farther offshore, potentially reaching the edges of the Gulf Stream in search of bigger game. These longer runs also open up opportunities for species like Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish, and even Blue Marlin when conditions line up.

You'll fish aboard a 28' Sea Hunt center console equipped with twin Yamaha outboards, modern electronics, outriggers, and an onboard marine head. All rods, reels, tackle, bait when available, and fishing licenses are included, along with bottled water and catch cleaning. A first mate will also be aboard to help throughout the day.

Whether you're looking to fill the cooler with bottom fish or chase something that will put your tackle to the test, Captain Don will work with the conditions to make the most of your offshore adventure!
