About Your Guide

The first half of my life was spent growing up in Long Island, New York, fishing as far back as I can remember. For the last 15 years, I've been fishing all over Florida from inshore to offshore, from lakes to canals. My main focus lately has been freshwater live bait fishing for Clown Knife Fish, Peacock, and Largemouth Bass on Lake Ida and the surrounding areas. I always had a strong passion for fishing that I love to share with others. A trip with me will not only be a memorable experience – it will be something you brag about, as I will do my absolute best to ensure you get the fish of a lifetime!

Brian was an awesome guide on Lake Ida. Put us on a variety of fish in a short amount of time. His boat and gear are perfect for Lake Ida. We had a great time, great guy to talk with and fish. Will definitely book with Brian again. 5 STARS!!

Worked hard to put us on fish.Good conversation and 2 hrs (all we had time for) flew by. We weren’t slamming them but checked off the bucket list species.

This was a wonderful fishing trip. We caught lots of fish of all fresh water species. The boat and captain were so good. Captain Brian was on top of our every effort. He was aware of both my husband and I and our needs. He could advise about the bite.

My son Alex and I had a very enjoyable trip with Captain Brian. We caught a nice mixed bag and enjoyed learning the tricks of the trade in South Florida’s canal systems. I highly recommend taking a trip. It’s a great experience for both novice and experienced anglers.

We wanted to trying fishing in Florida and Brian did not disappoint. He was easy to connect with and was responsive during set up. He was prompt getting there and got us on the water and fishing quickly. He showed us the wildlife and made sure to find us an iguana (my son was dying to see one) and we caught some cool fish. It was a memorable experience and Brian made that happen. Next time we will go out even longer, we enjoyed being out there. Highly recommend. Thank you again Brian!

This was hands down the best boating and fishing experience I’ve ever had. I brought my teenage son who like myself have never gone fishing. He not only had the best time of his life , he also wind up catching 5 fishes . our captain Brian was so patient with both of us. I can’t stress enough how professional he was. If its your first time fishing, you need to look no further brian your guy.

We fished with Brian on a windy day at Lake Ida and had a great time. While arriving after an unusually cold weather cycle which affected the fish bite we were still successful more so than others who fished on the same day. Brian is an awesome guide, knowledgeable, friendly, willing to offer tips and perspective if you wish to chat. He is polite, timely and it was a great experience. I would highly recommend him and hope if we return to the area he is available again.

My girlfriend and I went out with Brian Monday morning, we had a great time. We got there and walked right on to the boat, brain had everything ready to go for us when we got there. We caught more peacock bass than we could count, a few large mouth, and one Gar. Overall great time, good conversation, and Brian able to answer every question we asked. We had a blast and definitely scheduling another trip next time we get down here!

We had a beautiful couple of hours on the boat. Although the morning trip out was rainy, the skies cleared for our trip and we had great weather. We met up with Brian near the boat dock, and cruised down the canal for about 15 minutes. He got us set up with our poles and we fished. We each caught a peacock bass, probably about 14 inches long and weighing about 4-5 pounds. When the action slowed, he took us to a different area to try our luck there. Brian was super accommodating, and did whatever he could to insure we had the best possible experience. He even takes the best pictures of our catches and emailed them to us so we could share them with friends and family. We would highly recommend this trip to all!

I went out with Brian for a half day trip. This was my third time going out with him and I wouldn’t go out with anyone else. He is knowledgeable, his technique for catching fish just works well and the conversation was just amazing. I caught 22 fish in four hours and he took care of everything. The boat was comfortable, got us around the canals and the lake quickly and we were on the fish within minutes. I caught plenty of largemouth and a few peacock bass as well. Then we finished up the day almost in the center of the lake and had possibly my best fight of the day from a 4to 4 1/2 lb striped bass. Amazing trip! I was visiting from Nashville and made sure I booked my trip with him before I came out. Give him a try. I promise you will be back as well.
